Sweet Dreams Headache/Sleeping Oil

This oil began as a homeopathic remedy to my horrific headaches, but soon discovered that it’s aromatherapy properties were very conducive to sleep, too.

Ingredients & Supplies

  • 2 oz vial
  • 2 oz vial
  • 1.5 oz almond oil (or extra virgin olive oil)
  • 10 drops of lavender oil
  • 4 drops of eucalyptus oil
  • 10-14 drops of clove oil
  • 1 small pinch of peppermint

Directions

Cap vial and shake to blend ingredients.

Use

  • Headaches: Apply to temples and across forehead.
  • Sleeping: Apply to forehead, bridge of nose and underneath nostrils.

Notes: This oil is for topical use only!

Icky Lips Cold Sore Potion

This little potion works well with or without traditional medicines. Tea tree oil helps to dry out the sores to promote faster healing. The peppermint oil helps to numb it a litte and the lavender is soothing to the irritated skin. The other oils help lessen the strong scent of the tea tree.

Ingredients & Supplies

  • small vial
  • 2 tsp tea tree oil
  • 20 drops of lavender oil
  • 15 drops of peppermint oil
  • 10 drops of clove oil
  • 10 drops of orange oil
  • small pinch of dried lavender (optional)

Directions

Add all ingredients to vial. Cap vial and shake to blend ingredients.

Use

With clean finder, rub oil into affected area. Repeat often throughout the day. Remember to wash your hands when you are done!

Notes: This oil is for topical use only!

Scalp Anti-Itch Oil

This is a great topical solution for an itchy scalp. This is best used when not heading out in public because the oil base can make hair oily!

Ingredients & Supplies

  • 2 oz vial
  • 1.5 oz almond oil (or extra virgin olive oil or coconut oil)
  • 20 drops of tea tree oil

Directions

Cap vial and shake to blend ingredients.

Use

Rub into scalp and let sit. Topping with a shower cap can help heat it a little and further intensify the effects.

Stinky Feet Spray

I love this stuff! It can be sprayed both directly on the feet and inside offending shoes. I use this a lot in my husband’s combat boots and sneakers and, if it works on his shoes, it will work anywhere! This is essentially odorless but the vodka acts as a neutralizer. The optional essential oils blend to add a fresh scent that is not overpowering.

Ingredients & Supplies

  • spray bottle
  • 1/2 cup distilled water
  • 1/2 cup vodka
  • 20 drops tea tree oil
  • 5 drops orange oil (optional)
  • 5 drops lavender oil (optional)
  • 3 drops lemongrass oil (optional)

Directions

Add ingredients together and shake to blend. I recommend refrigerating this spray.

Use

Spray in shoes and bottoms of feet.

Notes: This oil is for topical use only!

Sunny Day Potion

This oil is my “pick me up” potion. Great for tired mornings, or mornings when you just need a sunny burst of happiness! This is an orange-based brew and can’t help but refresh you!! I tend to wear this as a perfume, too!

Ingredients & Supplies

  • 4 oz vial
  • 3 oz almond oil (or extra virgin olive oil)
  • 30-40 drops of orange sweet oil
  • 10-15 drops of clove oil
  • pinch of dried orange peel

Directions

Cap vial and shake to blend ingredients.

Use

Apply to temples and across forehead, or pulse points.

Notes: This oil is for topical use only!
